Kodiak Sciences Inc. is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in novel therapeutics to treat chronic, high-prevalence ophthalmic diseases.
Challenge
As a leader in the ophthalmology medicine industry, Kodiak is developing disruptive products and platforms to prevent and treat the leading causes of blindness. But their cutting-edge science and exciting test results were being lost on the average investor.
Strategy
With the goals of educating and connecting with their investors top of mind, we focused on updating their overall look and feel with a balance between lifestyle photography, beautiful macro visuals and dense data. We needed to make the data more approachable, more human-centered.
Solution
The result was a corporate overview presentation and template that’s clear and concise, without being oversimplified. The presentation became the foundation of a larger design system that informs their annual reports and R & D Day events.
